THE ULTIMATE COMMUNICATION FORMULA
Selling Yourself Short !
Besides doubting your communication skills and becoming a person with a hunchback, you will also develop a clouded view of life and a really frustrated attitude.
In essence, robbing yourself of UNLOCKING the genius within.
Are you too busy ‘checking in’ to your ‘unreal’ self, one that is driven by online reward, significance and competition most of the time?
Maybe you continue to sell yourself short by reminding yourself that you could not possibly achieve your dreams, that you could not possibly do as others are doing.
So you continue to extend the truth …
Your life is directly proportional, to the amount of discomfort you can comfortably withstand. Feeling the fear of positive growth and using it to your advantage is what life is all about.
We grow at a rate chosen by ourselves, we can choose to hide in our homes, or behind our screens and remain really safe in life…
Or the other option, would be to grow and find our true gifts.
We do this by stretching the limits and abilities we currently face, instead of becoming someone we are not, we could stand and become the person we were designed to be by mastering the art of offline communication.
How I learned about this Gift
I was attending a mastermind group that I had joined, everyone in the group was eager to learn from someone who captivates millions in the mobile app space.
Instead of studying the framework of social media as part of our course, we were all getting caught up in a world of constant checking and attending.
Our host was quick to point just out how slow our progress was, he said it was due to our lack of social activeness and commitment in life.
Naturally we were lost with his statement, we thought by doing more social media homework, we were most certainly increasing our social activeness.
He went on to remind us that we were learning this new skill, so that we could one day achieve freedom and enjoy the pleasures of our real social activeness in life.
“After all, you will have to get social (face to face) to sell yourself sometime in the near future” – he said.
“Become a social master and people will one day give you anything you need”

How It Happened for me
Just like everyone else at the time, I was heavily involved with social media. It was the latest online craze and it was positioning itself, to highly publicise our individually personalised lives.
I quickly realised through my new mastermind group, that it would be important to master the skill of communication, now more than ever.
I began Witnessing people at every opportunity pull out their mobile device, checking in to the latest statistics of their ‘Feed’ or ‘Wall’, instead of interacting with the person who shares the same seat only a few inches away.
I began to see an ‘unsocial’ epidemic unfold before my very eyes, listening to people compete about ‘Friend Numbers’ and lifestyles that were not totally reflective of the one being lived.
People began to turn to a ‘fake’ life, in fear of being left behind or isolated from their groups.
Apparently being far easier to satisfy the ego by following the herd and becoming someone you were not.
I made a promise to myself that when I felt discomfort in any social setting from now on, instead of reaching for my protection blanket (the mobile device), I would turn and speak to the nearest person to me.
Soon after, I began to build a person of intense mental and spiritual strength.
Now I challenge you to do the same by following the 3 simple steps below.
Step 1. – Become aware of the moments you feel isolated and are afraid to look at people
Step 2. – Challenge those feelings by CONSCIOUSLY asking one simple question – Is this feeling accurate, will I indeed die if I look at someone.
Step 3. – Introduce yourself to the nearest person and share from the heart.
DO THIS FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS !!
